About

Shaun’s love of wood working began in his native England in the mid 80’s.
After serving a four-year apprenticeship in the old cathedral town of Lincoln, Shaun’s training in traditional old crafts became the building block for what is now four decades in the trade.
In the early 90s Shaun moved his business to Chamonix in the French Alps. There he specialised in custom cabinetry and fine carpentry for high end contractors and private clients, renovating old stone buildings and uninhabited farmhouses, turning them into luxury ski chalets.
This move also allowed Shaun to pursue his love of mountaineering, becoming both a British and French mountain guide, leading trips throughout the Alps and to various expeditions to the Himalayas including a couple of summits of Everest.
In recent years Shaun moved to be with his partner Lara in beautiful Paradise Valley, Montana - now home to his third workshop!
